Registered Veterinary Technician

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician looking to work in a supportive and caring environment? RainTree Veterinary Hospital is seeking a talented RVT to join our team for 2-3 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in all aspects of patient care, including surgeries, diagnostics, and treatments.
- Perform routine procedures such as blood draws, lab tests, radiographs, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Provide compassionate care and comfort to our patients and their families.
- Educate pet owners on proper care, preventive health, and post-treatment home care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Support and mentor veterinary assistants and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in good standing.
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about animal care and committed to continuous learning and professional development.

Are you a student with a passion for veterinary medicine and looking to gain hands-on experience? RainTree Veterinary Hospital has an exciting entry-level position for a Kennel Attendant. This role is perfect for someone interested in pursuing a career as a veterinary technician or veterinarian.
Position: Kennel Attendant (Part-Time, After School & Weekends)
Location: RainTree Veterinary Hospital
Schedule: 3 Days a Week After School + 2 Saturdays/Month
Are you a student with a passion for veterinary medicine and looking to gain hands-on experience? RainTree Veterinary Hospital has an exciting entry-level position for a Kennel Attendant. This role is perfect for someone interested in pursuing a career as a veterinary technician or veterinarian.
About Us:
RainTree Veterinary Hospital is committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and a supportive environment for our team members. We offer an excellent opportunity for students to learn about the veterinary field and develop their skills in animal care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Ensure patient well-being by maintaining clean kennels, providing dry and clean blankets, and ensuring food and water are available as needed. Offer TLC and walks, as guided by veterinarians and veterinary technicians based on individual patient needs.
- Hospital Cleanliness & Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning tasks, including:
- Emptying garbage and recycling bins
- Handling laundry
- Cleaning floors (vacuuming, mopping, and baseboards)
- Sanitizing countertops, sinks, and lab fridge
- Sterilizing the surgical suite
- Maintaining bathroom cleanliness and supplies
- Keeping the staff room tidy, including countertops and fridge
- Additional Duties: Assist with preparing surgical packs and autoclaving, animal restraint, running laboratory samples, and restocking shelves as needed.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Hours: 3:30-5:30 PM, 3 days a week after school, and 8:30 AM-12:30 PM on 2 Saturdays per month.
- Wage: $17.40 per hour.
Qualifications:
- A keen interest in veterinary medicine as a career (technician or veterinarian).
- A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
- Professionalism and a positive attitude.
